When we aren’t on the course we golfers are like Pavlov’s dog, triggered by cues. The right curves, lines, colours and textures bring us back to the fairways for a moment, where we can tend to the serious matter of choosing again our misguided strategies, hitting it sweet and sometimes shanking it into the cruelest rough humankind can devise. This pleasurable torture is an addiction so great that its allure is ever-present. When we’re not lucky enough to be practicing the overlap grip, we can use our imagination, our memory, and our photographs to relive the beauty. Tees, fairways, grooves, leading edges, putt lines, and scorecards are all visual triggers. Anything visual and golf-related will have its place on this site.
